BUSINESS ANALYST SUPERVISOR (MOPAC)

Business Analysis SupervisorLocation:

General Manager Purpose & Scope:
This position will support the General Manager and the operations team in cost control and accountability of all operations targets.
The right candidate has a strong accounting or systems background and can analyze and recommend improvements.
He or she also must have strong interpersonal skills to work with the team to implement these improvements.
Principle
Responsibilities:
Oversees analysis of routine and ad hoc reporting to include but not limited to pricing, inventories, COGS, labor, repair and maintenance and overall operating expenses Leads and tracks the effort to identify cost savings improvements Collaborates with other Expense Managers within the Business Unit Partners with plant management team to measure and track cost savings, revenue improvements or other improvements as needed Works with home office and other expense control managers to share and implement best practices across the Regional Beef Business Unit Utilize Qlikview and/or Qliksense software to support and track Key Performance Indicators Drives the effort toward process improvement utilizing a variety of tools Participatory programs - 5S program, provide information for the dashboard.
Ensure motivation, continuity, engagement and participation in JBS meetings Learn, understand and assist in developing the Accounting department's methods, projects, goals and objectives Assist with regular reporting requirements Work with Operations on vendor costing analysis Assist in putting together budgeting files and analysis Drives the team in achieving annual budget Work with procurement team to analyze price variances Support the accounting team on the monthly analysis Support plant operations with cost saving initiatives Take an active role in driving performance improvements and SOX compliance Provide coverage during absences and vacations Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience:
3
years of directly related experience requiredSpecial Skills:
Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details Excellent problem solving skills Requires excellent inter-personal skills Proficient with spreadsheets and computer systems Experience with SAP preferred Internal:
