Director of Mortgage Servicing

Overview The Director of Mortgage Servicing will provide leadership and strategy for the Bank's mortgage and consumer collection services, overseeing operations and vendor management to deliver a high-performance servicing experience for clients, while protecting the bank and preventing servicing related risks. Reporting to the Chief Bank Operations Officer, the incumbent will develop and implement short and long-term mortgage servicing strategies, ensuring operational capabilities and tactical plans align with, and support, the Bank's overall objectives. Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational oversight on all elements of the customer mortgage servicing and collections experience for the Bank, inclusive of loan input, investor servicing, scanning/retention, loss mitigation, audit, and regulatory compliance Set objectives, key performance metrics and priorities that support the Bank's mortgage strategies while leading servicing-related innovation projects across the Bank Build, develop and lead an effective, cross-functional, and high performing team capable of managing all aspects of the mortgage servicing life cycle Take the lead role in identifying and developing vendor partnerships to offer a streamlined servicing experience for customers within all markets Ensure mortgage offerings, the systems and associated policies follow all applicable laws and regulations and the Univest Code of Conduct Partner with relevant departments within the Bank to review and implement organization-wide policies particularly those that are customer-facing and those that have an impact on servicing operations, thereby reducing risk and maintaining satisfactory audits year over year Perform additional duties as required Qualifications 10
years of experience in mortgage servicing discipline (e.g., Loan and Investor Servicing, Collections) with a proven track record leading comparable operations and programs 5
years of relevant experience in a large financial institution in a senior staff role within bank operations (e.g., Loan Servicing, Mortgage Servicing, Loss Mitigation), or finance department (e.g., Treasury, Accounting) 5
years of leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams Comprehensive understanding of mortgages and loss mitigation and experience across multiple loan admin servicing functions including escrow, payment processing, PMI processing, secondary market activities (including FHLMC, FNMA, & GNMA), etc. Very knowledgeable in all regulations related to and governing residential mortgage and consumer servicing and collections (RESPA, Reg B, CARES Act, RESPA, ECOA, FDCPA, FDPA, UDAAP, SCRA) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Investments, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
